You will lead the newsroom s editorial agenda, overseeing Executive Producers and planning functions to deliver distinctive, high-impact content across social and digital platforms. This role combines strong editorial leadership with operational excellence in a constantly evolving news environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily editorial planning, assignments, and execution of the news budget
  • Oversee all newsroom output across video, visual, and multimedia formats
  • Provide final editorial review and sign-off on content
  • Drive agile workflows to respond to breaking news and platform demands
  • Champion innovative, platform-native storytelling formats
  • Translate audience insights into actionable editorial strategies
  • Develop and mentor newsroom talent, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Creative, Audience Development, and Editorial teams to optimise delivery
