Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Enforce strict compliance with OSHAD regulations, Abu Dhabi Municipality standards, and internal MCC safety protocols across all field teams.

  • Conduct comprehensive Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Risk Assessments for high-risk activities (e.g., traffic diversions, fiber splicing, boom lift operations).

  • Ensure all roadside activities are supported by approved Traffic Diversion Management (TDM) plans, including barricades, signage, and flagmen.

  • Lead immediate investigations into any site accidents or near-misses, providing detailed reports and enforcing corrective measures.

  • Ensure 100% compliance with PPE usage and conduct regular safety toolbox talks and emergency response training for all field engineers and technicians.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Valid OSHAD-approved OSH Practitioner with 'Grade A' status is MANDATORY.

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or Environmental Science. NEBOSH International Diploma highly preferred.

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of proven track record in managing OHS in the UAE, specifically within telecommunications, construction, or outdoor infrastructure maintenance.

  • Handled MCC-regulated projects will be an advantage.
