Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As Lead PHP Developer , you will play a strategic role within the technical team. Your mission will revolve around three main areas:
1. Technical supervision & team leadership
- To mentor and develop the skills of a team of backend developers spread across the world.
- Organize the rituals (daily, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Conduct code reviews, support best practices, and ensure technical quality.
2. Project monitoring & adherence to deadlines
- Collaborating with the Country Manager and PM to estimate tasks, prioritize backlogs and plan sprints.
- Monitor progress , raise alerts, adjust resources as needed.
- to be responsible for ensuring that schedules and technical commitments are met.
3. Reporting & cross-functional coordination
- Provide clear and regular reporting on development progress to the product, tech and management teams.
- Anticipate technical risks and propose solutions.
- Coordinate interactions with the QA, DevOps, security and support teams.

Desired Candidate Profile
Desired profile
- Proven experience (5+ years) in PHP development .
- 2+ years in a Lead Developer or Tech Lead role with direct team management.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban), planning and tracking tools (Jira).
- Proficiency in technical project management , prioritization , and rapid decision-making .
- Ability to work remotely with multicultural teams.
- Excellent communication skills , both written and oral, in French and English .
- Solution-oriented, autonomous, collaborative spirit and sense of responsibility.
- An interest in artificial intelligence or experience with AI tools is a real asset .
