Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and engineering of pipeline systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and optimizing for safety and efficiency.
  • Oversee the development of pipeline specifications, including material selection, wall thickness calculations, and corrosion protection, considering project-specific requirements.
  • Manage and review pipeline hydraulic and stress analysis, ensuring the integrity and performance of pipeline systems under various operating conditions.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, designers, and construction personnel, to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional development and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification studies, implementing mitigation measures to minimize potential hazards and ensure operational safety.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and calculations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Participate in vendor selection and technical evaluations, ensuring the procurement of high-quality equipment and services for pipeline projects.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, proactively addressing any technical challenges or deviations from the project plan.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, continuously improving pipeline design and engineering methodologies.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, , or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in pipeline engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on project design and execution.
  • Demonstrates hands on experience in Design & FEED Engineering of Oil & Gas Pipeline Project and a strong understanding of relevant industry codes and standards
  • Exhibits proficiency in pipeline design software
  • Has experience with pipeline materials, corrosion control methods, and integrity management systems.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Exhibits leadership qualities, with the ability to manage and mentor junior engineers and contribute to team success.
  • Has experience working on international projects and is familiar with different regulatory environments.
