Roles and Responsibilities
The Lead Planner is responsible for the development, maintenance, and analysis of comprehensive project schedules, ensuring accurate progress measurement and proactive management of schedule risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 (Level 2/3).
Coordinate with COMPANY Planning Lead for project schedule alignment and approvals.
Integrate key milestones, critical paths, and resource plans into the overall project schedule.
Prepare and update 90-day look-ahead plans in coordination with COMPANY planning teams.
Analyze schedule impacts of changes/variations and provide “what-if” scenarios.
Generate manpower loading diagrams and progress reports.
Provide schedule input for weekly and monthly progress reports.
Implement progress measurement systems based on physical quantities and productivity.
Liaise with project and construction teams to ensure schedule accuracy and practicality.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning/scheduling using Primavera P6 in EPC/Brownfield Oil & Gas projects.
Strong knowledge of WBS, Earned Value Management (EVM), and critical path analysis.
Experience in managing schedule changes and variation control.
Proficient in MS Office and project reporting tools.
Preferred Skill Set
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interface effectively across disciplines and with client representatives.
