Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Take charge of developing and implementing game changing and novel technologies that support, enable and transform Ma aden to a Digital Twin enabled enterprise and apply fit-for-purpose automation across the company, with a focus on the operational frontline assets.
  • Undertake technical market analysis to identify and evaluate technologies through focused initiatives and trials aimed at enhancing process efficiency and reducing reliance on conventional technologies
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments as required
  • Develop and implement testing and validation protocols with the BU s.

  • Clear understanding of pre-requisites/enablers for digital & automation technology adoption
  • Problem solving capability.
  • Demonstrated skills in mastering new digital & automation knowledge and its applications.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in systems integration, data engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of integration principles, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of OT systems preferably Rockwell, Yokogawa and Honeywell.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Instrumentation and condition monitoring.
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms
  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work well in a cross-functional, strongly matrixed environment
  • Critical thinking capabilities, analytical skills, action orientation
  • Excellent prioritization skills

Minimum Experience:

8+ years of experience in implementing mining, processing and manufacturing digital technology, with a track record of driving technology adoption and efficiency improvements in mining, processing and manufacturing operations
