Roles & Responsibilities

Capable and experienced Lead Technical Architect with a strong background in contractor technical office operations. The role requires comprehensive expertise in design coordination, technical documentation, BIM implementation, and stakeholder management for major projects. The Lead Architect will oversee architectural technical activities, ensure compliance with codes and constructability requirements, and lead multidisciplinary coordination efforts throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage architectural works within the Technical Office, ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable codes.
Review, coordinate, and produce architectural shop drawings, coordination drawings, and construction documents.
Manage material submissions, material selection processes, and technical approvals in coordination with consultants and clients.
Ensure constructability, value engineering alignment, and effective integration between architectural design and construction methods.
Develop, review, and coordinate BIM models, including clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
Participate in and lead meetings with clients, consultants, and project engineers to resolve technical and design issues.
Supervise and manage the architectural technical team, providing guidance, task allocation, and quality control.
Coordinate closely with other department heads (Structural, MEP, Planning, Procurement, and Construction) to ensure seamless project delivery.
Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors and subconsultants, ensuring alignment with project scope and schedules.
Monitor architectural deliverables to meet project timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience working on major or large‑scale projects.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a contractor’s Technical Office environment.
Strong knowledge of local and international building codes, standards, and regulations.
Proven experience in BIM modeling and architectural coordination.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
