Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Post Holder will be responsible for delivery of Leadership Development Directorate. This includes any classroom activities as well as practical course delivery, testing / marking, materials selection, preparation and development, syllabus development, implementation of courses and record keeping.
The Post Holder will be responsible for leading, controlling, planning and scheduling Leadership training programs.
The Post Holder is to collate, analyse and distribute Delegate performance results as required by the Chief Leadership Instructor (CLI).
The Post Holder will co-ordinate with the CLI concerning all aspects of course administration and implementation.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Post Holder is responsible for:
- The day-to-day delivery of Leadership and associated training materials to Delegates/Trainees.
- The collation, analysis and distribution of Delegate/Trainee performance results as required by the CLI.
- Keeping up to date with mandatory training required to fulfil their duties.
- Reviewing Leadership performance through lesson observations.
- Providing regular updates to the CLI on training performance, Delegate/Trainee discipline and any other issues that require their assistance.
- Ensuring that all reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that all quality process documentation requirements are implemented and communicated to the Leadership team.
- The Post Holder will be expected to operate to a standard of absolute integrity and professionalism.
- The Post Holder will ensure the completion of any other reasonable request by their line manager, which aligns with Company business.
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential
- Experience of relevant training delivery to a high standard.
- Graduate of an advanced military trade school or an industry equivalent.
- Have substantial practical experience in their speciality.
- Have successfully completed a Military Defence Train the Trainer or UKG approved instructional techniques course (RQF Level 3), or Saudi equivalent.
- Have recent (within last 5 years) instructional experience.
- Be a good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be fluent in English with a minimum of IELTS 6.0 for non-native English language speakers achieved within the last two years.
- Demonstrate high levels of cultural sensitivity.
Desirable
- Knowledge and experience of different teaching methodologies and associated techniques.
- Knowledge and experience of developing training materials.
- Experience using interactive media, including e-content, for teaching.
- Experience of delivering training to a military customer, or a customer in a regulated environment.
- Have a Leadership and Management qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) or demonstrable experience that evidences the same standard of knowledge and practice.
