Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
Co-develop 3-year improvement roadmaps (Operations & Industrialization) with the Business Units.
Contribute to defining the annual improvement plan by identifying ambitious projects to support continuous improvement.
Guide operational staff on appropriate methodologies (OS, DMAIC, PDCA, QRQC) to solve problems and improve performance.
Review the monthly Safran+ report prepared by the Methods & S+ Manager, consolidate performance data by company, and present the results.
Define the annual savings target with the Safran+ Tunisia Director and ensure its achievement in coordination with the teams.
Manage the QRQC system audit process for the Operational Units (UOs): ensure operational staff understand the checklists, correctly apply the evaluation approach, and ensure harmonization across Safran Tunisia.
Train and support trainers (UAP Quality) on Quality Assurance and QRQC, lead 5S training sessions, and guarantee compliance with the Group standard.
Evaluate coaches' proficiency with QRQC tools and the 3 Reals method.
Centralize and monitor the QRQC deployment rate across Safran Tunisia.
Lead OpEx projects (Kaizen, VSM, HK Master Plan) and manage OS mandates if reinforcement is needed in an UO.
Monitor the progress of OpEx and DMAIC projects by company, ensure milestones are met, and project lead times are respected.
Coach Belts and support their certification.
Provide Lean Sigma methodological support (MSP, MSA, flow analysis) and coaching on flow projects (VSM, Wipsim).
5. Developing a culture of progress and managerial support:
Ensure Lean Sigma training (OS Onboarding, 5S, White/Green/Black Belt, 6 Sigma statistics) and coaching for interpreting results.
Plan and monitor the Onboarding training rate across Safran Tunisia.
Facilitate the Lean Sigma networks in each company and ensure the replication of LS best practices.
Train managers on the Safran One OpEx approach and create the conditions for transformation (5S, HPT, Green/Black Belt).
Centralize and monitor the qualification path of Safran One referents, as well as the number of people coached per Operational Unit.
Escalate to sponsors or management if necessary to resolve critical situations.
