Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

A Leasing Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful operation of property leasing activities. They are responsible for overseeing lease agreements, managing relationships with current and potential tenants, and coordinating with property owners and management teams to fill vacant units and achieve financial objectives. The Leasing Manager should have a deep understanding of the real estate market and lease terms and be skilled in negotiation and customer service. They are also responsible for developing marketing strategies to attract tenants and analyzing market trends to optimize leasing efforts. This role requires excellent communication skills, a high level of organization, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire leasing process from tenant inquiry to contract signing.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract potential tenants.
  • Negotiate lease terms and agreements with prospective and current tenants.
  • Coordinate and conduct property showings and tours for prospective tenants.
  • Maintain updated records of all leasing activities including prospects, market surveys, and rent analyses.
  • Collaborate with property management to ensure a seamless move-in and move-out process.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding leasing and tenant management.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive leasing reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage tenant relationships to enhance satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Resolve tenant complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators related to leasing effectiveness.
  • Supervise and guide leasing staff to achieve company leasing objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leasing or property management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse clientele.
  • Solid understanding of real estate market trends and tenant management.
  • Proficiency in using property management software and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
