Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical lab sessions in Computer Science subjects such as Programming, Software Engineering, Database Systems, Networking, and Cybersecurity.

  • Develop and update teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with academic and awarding body requirements.

  • Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations.

  • Provide academic mentoring and support to students, ensuring their progression and success.

  • Supervise student projects, dissertations, and research activities where applicable.

  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and quality assurance procedures.

  • Participate in curriculum development and continuous programme improvement.

  • Support administrative duties including admissions, academic advising, and timetable coordination.

  • Engage in professional development and remain updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field (PhD preferred).

  • 0–5 years of teaching experience in higher education or relevant industry experience.

  • Strong knowledge in one or more areas: Programming (e.g., Python, Java, C++)

  • Software Development / Software Engineering Database Management Systems Networking & Cybersecurity Experience with international curricula (UK qualifications).

  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital teaching tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
