Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Transactional and Advisory Work:
· Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate documents, including:
· Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) and Off-Plan Addendums.
· Development Management Agreements.
· Facility Management Agreements.
· Manage the end-to-end legal process for property acquisitions and disposals.
· Provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on real estate matters.
· Liaise with the & Dubai & Abu Dhabi Municipalities, the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities (DPM), and other relevant government authorities.
Due Diligence and Compliance:
· Conduct thorough legal due diligence on properties, including title checks, encumbrances, and regulatory approvals.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, including Dubai & Abu Dhabi's real estate regulations, Strata Law, and the latest federal and emirate-level legislative updates.
· Stay abreast of changes in real estate law and practice in the UAE and advise the business on potential impacts.
Dispute Resolution:
· Assist in managing real estate-related disputes and litigation.
· Coordinate with external counsel on dispute resolution strategies and represent the company in negotiations and before relevant committees and courts as required.
· Draft legal notices, memoranda, and settlement agreements.
Corporate and General Legal Support:
· Support the legal team on general corporate commercial matters as needed.
· Maintain and organize legal files, contracts, and corporate records.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualification and Experience
· Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.
· A minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law, with a proven track record.
· Experience gained from a reputable law firm, a major real estate developer, or a corporate legal department in the UAE, preferably with a focus on Abu Dhabi.
· Fluency in English and Arabic is essential. Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic is critical for drafting and liaising with government authorities.
· understanding of UAE federal law and, crucially, Abu Dhabi-specific real estate regulations (e.g., DPM procedures, Tawtheeq, etc.).

· Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously.
· A proactive, business-oriented approach with the ability to provide practical, risk-based legal solutions.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-lawyers.
