Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal matters including corporate, commercial, civil, labor, and criminal law in the UAE.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, and internal policies.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitration, and interactions with government authorities, courts, and regulators.
- Ensure the company’s compliance with UAE laws and regulations, particularly those applicable in Dubai.
- Manage legal risks and provide proactive recommendations to management on mitigating exposure.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and manage case documentation and filings.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support internal departments in business decisions.
- Prepare and submit memorandums, pleadings, and reports to relevant UAE judicial authorities.
- Follow up on cases and legal notices in Dubai courts and government portals.
- Advise on company formation, licenses, and regulatory obligations within the UAE.
Desired Candidate Profile
Must be a Dubai-licensed legal consultant registered with the Legal Affairs Department.
Minimum 7 years of experience in legal advisory or litigation, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
In-depth knowledge of UAE laws, especially commercial, labor, civil, and real estate regulations.
Proven experience in contract drafting, court procedures, and compliance matters.
Strong legal research and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English
Ability to work independently and handle multiple legal matters simultaneously.
Proficient in using Dubai Courts systems, legal portals, and documentation tools.
High degree of professional ethics, discretion, and integrity.
Bachelor’s degree in Law is mandatory; Master’s in Law is an advantage.
