Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel on commercial, regulatory, corporate governance, and employment matters. Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including contracts, NDAs, and service agreements. Identify legal risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies. Support litigation and dispute resolution activities, including coordination with external counsel. Ensure compliance with UAE laws and financial regulatory frameworks. Assist with regulatory filings and liaison with government authorities. Maintain legal records, statutory registers, and ensure adherence to governance standards. Advise on data privacy, intellectual property, and licensing issues. Mentor junior legal staff and contribute to continuous legal knowledge within the organization.
Desired Candidate Profile
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, providing a solid foundation in legal principles.
A minimum of 6 years of relevant legal experience, ideally in a corporate or in-house legal department, showcasing expertise in commercial law.
Membership in a recognized bar association, demonstrating adherence to ethical standards and commitment to the legal profession.
Proven experience in contract negotiation and drafting, highlighting strong analytical and communication skills.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements, enhancing the ability to navigate legal challenges.
