Legal Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Legal Officer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support and advice to ensure the company operates within the law and mitigates its legal risks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of corporate laws and regulations and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and timely counsel to executives and other stakeholders on a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, etc.)

Assist in developing and implementing legal strategies to protect the company's interests.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company s full legal rights.

Manage and maintain the contract database and ensure compliance with contractual terms.

Regulatory Compliance:

Monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise on current and future regulatory changes.

Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Handle and resolve any legal disputes or litigation involving the company.

Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.

Ensure the company's operations comply with corporate governance practices and internal policies.

Assist with the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, including board minutes and resolutions.

Stay up-to-date with relevant legal developments and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in law firms or in-house legal departments, preferably within the logistics industry.

- Proficient in drafting and negotiations.

- Excellent in both Arabic and English languages.
