Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Job Responsibilities
The NACE Level 3 Inspector shall be responsible for:
Supervising and verifying all blasting and coating works onboard.
Ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards (ISO, NACE, SSPC, ASTM).
Conducting inspections for surface cleanliness, environmental monitoring, DFT checks, and adhesion testing.
Preparing daily inspection and non-conformance reports.
Reviewing coating materials, MDS, batch certificates, and ITPs.
Coordinating with QA/QC teams and mentoring junior inspectors.
Ensuring full compliance with the Client and PALFINGER HSE procedures during coating operations.
2. Deliverables
Daily and final coating inspection reports
Non-conformance and corrective action reports
Coating material and batch certification review
Final coating dossier and acceptance report
Desired Candidate Profile
NACE Level 3 Certification is mandatory
Minimum 8 years of coating inspection experience in oil & gas (offshore preferred).
Strong knowledge of protective coatings, corrosion control, and related standards.
Ability to work in offshore environments and comply with HSE requirements.
Valid offshore medical and safety certifications (BOSIET, HUET preferred).
Transferable visa or ability to mobilize immediately.
