Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Level 3 Workstation Engineer


Technical activities

  • Creation, maintenance and evolution of workstation GPOs
  • Design, update, and management of Windows master images (Windows 10/11) via SCCM Current Branch
  • Application packaging : defining standards, creating packages with InstallShield , AppV , or scripts
  • Integration and deployment of core workstation software
  • Participation in the virtualization of the workstation
  • Coordination of business projects impacting the workstation environment
  • Technical studies (feasibility, impacts, security, hardware/software compatibility)
  • Implementation and monitoring of publisher roadmaps (patches, security vulnerabilities, version updates)
  • Drafting and maintaining technical documentation (DAT, DEX, operating instructions)

Support & Expertise

  • Level 3 support for complex workstation-related incidents
  • Technical expertise in the user environment (physical/virtual)
  • Development of automation tools to simplify recurring administration
  • Contribution to the development of deployment standards and best practices

Desired Candidate Profile

Techniques

  • Proficiency in Windows 10 & 11

  • Advanced scripting: PowerShell , VBS

  • Packaging tools: InstallShield , AppV

  • Deployment tool: SCCM (CB)

  • Definition, optimization, and troubleshooting of GPOs

  • Desired skills: WMI , .NET Framework

Transverse

  • Writing clear and structured technical documentation

  • Ability to communicate with technical and business professionals

  • Analytical mind, rigor and method

  • Ability to work in project mode (agile or V-model methodology)
