Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for buildings and infrastructure projects using tools like One Click LCA or SimaPro.
  • Analyze material choices, embodied carbon, and environmental impacts to optimize project sustainability.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and material suppliers to recommend low-carbon materials and strategies.
  • Develop and present LCA reports to clients and certification bodies (e.g., LEED, Envision).
  • Stay informed about industry trends and tools related to LCA and carbon reduction strategies.
  • Support sustainability certification processes by contributing to LCA-related credits and documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in environmental engineering, sustainability, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting LCAs for buildings or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in LCA tools such as One Click LCA, SimaPro, or GaBi.
  • Familiarity with LEED, Envision, and Mostadam LCA-related requirements.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in carbon footprint analysis and reduction strategies.
  • Knowledge of building materials and sustainable construction practices.
  • Certification in LEED AP, Envision, or a similar rating system is a plus.
