Position Overview

Research Decode (https://researchdecode.com/) is expanding its network of research mentors to support students, early-career researchers, and interdisciplinary teams working on advanced problems in life sciences and biomedical research.

We are seeking scientifically rigorous mentors who can provide guidance across conceptual development, experimental design, computational analysis, and scholarly communication. This role focuses on strengthening research quality through expert mentorship and methodological insight.

Desired Candidate Profile

Core Responsibilities

  • Mentor researchers on study design, hypothesis development, and methodology

  • Provide scientific guidance on experimental planning, data interpretation, and statistical analysis

  • Assist in integrating computational and experimental approaches where applicable

  • Support manuscript preparation, literature synthesis, and peer-review revisions

  • Guide troubleshooting of research workflows and reproducibility challenges

  • Provide structured feedback to improve scientific rigor and publication readiness


Qualifications

  • PhD or postdoctoral research experience in life sciences, biomedical sciences, or related disciplines

  • Demonstrated research output (publications, funded projects, or industry R&D experience)

  • Strong understanding of experimental design, quantitative analysis, and scientific communication

  • Ability to mentor researchers with clarity, critical thinking, and methodological depth

  • Prior supervision, teaching, or mentorship experience is preferred
