About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lifeguard to join Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

Ensure guest safety by monitoring swimming areas, enforcing rules, rescuing individuals in danger, and administering first aid

Maintain pool facilities by cleaning, checking water conditions, and reporting issues to supervisors for resolution

Ensure that all lifesaving equipment’s are in good functioning order and always ready to use

Promote a welcoming environment by greeting guests warmly and fostering a fun, relaxing atmosphere

Support team operations through effective communication, attending training sessions, and assisting with special events

Uphold professional standards in hygiene, appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies and safety regulations

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 

1-2 years of work experience as a Lifeguard

Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent

Shallow Water Certification with Swim Distance 50 yards/meter, Dive Brick Depth Retrieval: 5 feet (1.5 m) or less Underwater swim 10 feet (3 m) 

or 

Pool Swim Minute Certification or Shallow Water Certification (as deemed necessary) with Swim Distance 100 yards/meter Dive Brick Depth Retrieval: 8 feet (2.4 m) or deepest facility depth designated Tread without use of arms & hands for 1
