Lifting / Scaffolding Supervisor Villa Hakatha pvt ltd.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Lifting / Scaffolding Supervisor to oversee all lifting and scaffolding operations across project sites. The role ensures safe working conditions, compliance with regulations, and efficient execution of lifting and scaffolding activities.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and enforce safe lifting and scaffolding practices on-site.
• Conduct daily inspections of scaffolding structures, lifting equipment, and rigging to ensure safety and compliance.
• Develop and implement site-specific lifting plans, scaffolding layouts, and emergency procedures.
• Deliver training, briefings, and toolbox talks to site personnel on safe lifting and scaffolding operations.
• Monitor lifting operations including cranes, hoists, and other equipment for compliance with load charts and safety standards.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, or equipment failures, and recommend corrective measures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, and daily activities.
• Coordinate with project management, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Valid certifications in scaffolding, rigging, or lifting operations (e.g., OSHA, NCCER, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervision experience in scaffolding and lifting operations, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations, scaffolding techniques, and lifting equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and observation skills.
