Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Light Current Design Engineer with 2 3 years of consultancy experience, specializing in healthcare projects. The candidate will be responsible for the design and coordination of advanced light current (ELV) systems that meet the high safety, reliability, and integration standards required in hospitals and medical facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop light current systems for healthcare facilities, including: Nurse Call Systems, Fire Alarm & Voice Evacuation Systems, CCTV & Access Control, Data/Structured Cabling & Public Address Systems, IPTV, Intercom, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, HTM, JCI, local codes).
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to deliver fully integrated hospital designs.
  • Prepare design drawings, calculations, technical reports, and BOQs.
  • Support tendering processes and provide technical clarifications during bidding.
  • Review medical equipment layouts and ensure proper system integration.
  • Provide technical support during construction and respond to contractor queries.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in power Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 3 years of proven experience in light current/ELV design for healthcare projects within a consultancy office.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare facility requirements and international standards (NFPA, HTM, IEC, etc.).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet healthcare project deadlines.
