Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain light current systems including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, public address, and data networks for commercial and healthcare projects.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of low current systems within overall building infrastructure.
- Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and documentation for all light current installations.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements and system specifications.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of light current systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to light current systems during and after installation.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to select appropriate materials, equipment, and vendors.
- Ensure all systems adhere to safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and maintenance teams.
- Prepare progress reports and present updates to project managers and stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing light current or low current systems.
- Proven experience with fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and data network systems.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations for low current systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in office-based environments with occasional site visits.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
