Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain light current systems including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, public address, and data networks for commercial and healthcare projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of low current systems within overall building infrastructure.
  • Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and documentation for all light current installations.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements and system specifications.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of light current systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to light current systems during and after installation.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to select appropriate materials, equipment, and vendors.
  • Ensure all systems adhere to safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and maintenance teams.
  • Prepare progress reports and present updates to project managers and stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing light current or low current systems.
  • Proven experience with fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and data network systems.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations for low current systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in office-based environments with occasional site visits.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
