Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate light trucks, adhering strictly to traffic laws and company policies to ensure the secure transport of goods.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, meticulously checking all vehicle systems to identify and report any mechanical issues, guaranteeing vehicle safety.
  • Load and unload cargo efficiently, using appropriate equipment and techniques, to prevent damage and maintain delivery schedules.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes, considering traffic, road conditions, and delivery schedules, to optimize time and fuel usage.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, demonstrating a commitment to safe driving practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, providing a foundation for understanding instructions and documentation.
  • Holds a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or relevant endorsement, showcasing professional driving qualifications.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience driving light trucks, highlighting practical experience in the industry.
