Roles & Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for timely M&I of Electricity and Automation (E&A), including instruments, PLC's and HMI's for safe and smooth operation of all factory plants, by reducing related shut downs and enhancing product quality and plant operation/performance while ensuring that people health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

SHE: Always ensure that work permits are maintained for all employees under his supervision. Implement machine improvements related to the identified Safety gaps resulting from machinery safety assessments and red tags.

Quality: Ensure maintenance hygiene practices are always followed while conducting preventive maintenance, line intervention and contractors' activities. Ensure proper line release procedures are followed after interventions & completion of controls' activities. Participate in NEHD assessments & lead action plan gap closures.

Compliance: Ensure process and equipment safety for people, products, and the environment, and that everyone demonstrates an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations. Ensures that change management is in place to appropriately manage modifications in the engineering compliance.

Manage existing assets: Support and participate in the implementation maintenance methodologies (PM pillar, foundations), as a member of MWG. Support production to eliminate quality defects, safety risks and chronic technical issues. Ensure adherence to applicable standards in the area of responsibility.

Maintenance and Improvement of Electrical assets: Implement maintenance and inspection plans to ensure reliability, sustainability, and security of the Electrical infrastructure. Ensure proper backup procedures of electrical systems supporting production. Execute the electrical maintenance is in accordance with the Nestl Maintenance Strategy to proactively maintain/improve the fixed assets and Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM) as the process to manage the asset lifecycle. Adopt the Maintenance Excellence vision by striving for the M&I Proactive Domain". Monitor plant and equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduction of planned and unplanned downtime."

NCE: Support TPM implementation across assigned plant/line through adherence to MWG implementation plan as part from PM implementation plan and take ownership of own development plan.

What will make you successful

Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering will be a plus.

3 years of electrician experience in a manufacturing, technical, industrial, or related environment, FMCG experience will be a plus.

Should have a basic understanding of machines and food hygiene concepts coupled with adequate safety knowledge.

Good Understanding of AM/PM Pillar Methodology.

Good knowledge of Hygienic Engineering.

Good Knowledge of AMM

Workshop Basics safety protection Devices

Knowledge of advanced NCE foundations- TPM methodology, Lean thinking, etc.

Good Understanding of AM/PM Pillar Methodology

Advanced understanding of the related departments and their role (Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, etc )

General knowledge in Electrical & Automation Fundamentals

Knowledge in Asset & Maintenance Management (AMM).

Good knowledge in food processing operations and technology

Knowledge in Electrical, Pneumatic, PLC & HMI.

Knowledge of the protocol to implemented rules of hygiene, safety, zoning, and environment.

Desired Candidate Profile
