Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Works on high structures for maintenance, repair and inspection.
  • Carry-out preventive and corrective maintenance of overhead lines.
  • Ensure his own safety and that of his co-workers during works.
  • Day/Night/Vigilant ground patrolling and reporting on KM approved format.
  • Inspection and maintenance of all the O/H line components.
  • Pre-commissioning inspection of new EHV/HV overhead lines.
  • Erection and maintenance of guard wires poles installation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution / college / university acceptable to KAHRAMAA or Secondary School certificate with Technical Trade certificate.
  • Ability to communicate, read and write in English at Secondary School Level.
  • Minimum 04 years of experience for Diploma holders and minimum 06 years' experience for Technical Trade certificate in the maintenance and erection of EHV overhead lines for voltage levels up to 400kV
  • Able to learn, read and understand instructions, drawings and procedures.
  • Knowledge of erection, assembly and maintenance of EHV Transmission O/H lines.
