Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Local Technician


The field technician provides level 1 and 2 technical support to users on site. They work on workstations, peripherals, software and network equipment.

  • Ensure the installation, configuration and maintenance of workstations (PCs, printers, phones, etc.)
  • Diagnose and resolve technical incidents (hardware and software)
  • Manage requests and incidents via a ticketing tool
  • Ensure follow-up of interventions and traceability in internal tools
  • Participate in the deployment of new equipment or software
  • Train and support users on IT tools
  • Collaborating with centralized or remote support teams

Desired Candidate Profile

Techniques:

  • Good mastery of Windows environments (7/10/11), Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
  • Knowledge of ticketing tools (GLPI, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Computer security concepts

Behavioral:

  • Sense of service and communication
  • Ability to work independently
  • Rigour and organisation
  • R activity and stress management

Education & Experience

  • Bac +2/3 in computer science (BTS SIO, DUT Informatique, etc.)
  • At least one year of experience in a similar position.
  • Mastery of spoken and written French (main working language)
