Seeking a full-time Power Plant Supervisor in support of LOGCAP V. Join our team and grow with us as we provide best in-class services that help clients solve their most complex challenges.
Your Impact
• Serve as the Power Plant Supervisor for operations and maintenance, it covers the respective systems listed in SOW, PWS, WI, Appendices, T.E. s, ensures related tasks are accomplished and client interface.
• Responsible for the development of a safety and occupational health program which meets the provisions of LOGCAP requirements, industry standards and/or Government specifications.
• Abide by and adhere to all requirements in General Order #1 in conformity with US military standards and practices.
• Ensure all credentials and training are up-to-date with all Power Plant Personnel.
• Follow all Versar Global Solutions standard policies and practices.
• Other duties as determined.
• Perform all tasks associated with the safe and correct operation of the Safety and Quality program as directed by management, regulations, policies, Instructions, and the Performance Work Statement.
• Responsible for the development of a QA/QC and Safety inspection program which meets the provisions of the LOGCAP Action Plan (AP) and manufacturer s recommendations and/or Government specifications.
• Review the production activities and capabilities in light of quality requirements.
• Ensure that the staff understands the maintenance and repair requirements.
• Evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of the staff s Safety and Quality or inspection system including in-house sampling plans.
• Analyze quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the crew s quality or inspection system.
• Verify by test or inspection that products used comply with contractual requirements before they are utilized.
• Request corrective action by the crew when inadequacies are detected in the inspection system or quality program.
• Coordinate the disposition of nonconforming products and materials.
• Fulfill your duties and responsibilities for controlling O&M services quality in accordance with contractual requirements, and that the completed O&M services conform to specifications and/or manufacturer s recommendations.
• Investigate customer complaints and deficiency reports and provide identification of causes to appropriate activities.
• For maintenance of major items, review and recommend approval/disapproval of work over and above that contractually authorized; and where applicable, perform quality assurance support activities at the crew s level.
• Become familiar with the Action Plan (AP) and provide daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by the AP.
• Maintain close relationships with the prime contractor and USG to ensure all their requirements are fully met in accordance with the task order and prime contract requirements.
• Promote a wide variety of training activities designed to achieve awareness of safety hazards and corresponding preventive procedures in hazardous environment.
• This position requires travel to other countries in the Middle East in support of programs requiring subject matter expertise in power generation and other support, when needed under short notice.
• As directed by the Power Generation Manager.
Required Qualifications
• Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
• Must maintain a valid driver s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
• Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
• Must satisfy and maintain CENTCOM MOD-18 medical requirements to include COVID-19 vaccinations
• Must be able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.

Additional Required Qualifications
• Experience in medium to large scale O&M prime power diesel gensets (50-60 Liter engines).
• Experienced in managing technical staff, inspectors, and support personnel.
• Experienced working in international work environments with expatriate or US military.
• Proactive nature and strong interpersonal skills in collaborating, communicating, and working with (1) Other senior supervisors/managers and staff (to include Home Office management team), (2) Local and International subcontractors; (3) Army Corps of Engineers military representatives; and (4) Local officials as required.
• Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance program for O&M Services.
• Knowledge of Safety and quality assurance/control methods, principles, and practices, including statistical analysis and sampling techniques.
• Knowledge of the relationship of quality assurance and Safety to other activities such as contract administration, engineering, supply
• Experience in developing and implementing Safety and occupational health program for prime power O&M Services
• Experience in recurring assignments to control or eliminate unsafe physical conditions, equipment and machine hazards, and risks in human performance which may cause injury to people or damage to property.
