Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire seafreight process, including booking shipments, tracking cargo, and coordinating with shipping lines to optimize routes and schedules.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and port authorities to ensure efficient logistics operations and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Prepare and maintain all necessary export documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and phyto certifications, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to monitor the handling and storage of fresh produce throughout the shipping process to maintain product integrity and freshness.
  • Analyze shipping costs and identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining service quality, including negotiating rates with shipping lines.
  • Address and resolve logistical challenges related to seafreight, including delays, customs issues, and damage claims.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and provide regular reports on logistics performance metrics, such as delivery times, costs, and service levels.
  • Excellent user of Microsoft Office (Especially Excel)
  • Good English
  • Familiarity with shipping line operations and port logistics.
