Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily logistics operations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage inventory levels, track shipments, and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to optimize supply chain efficiency and resolve any logistical issues.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and analyze transportation costs, proposing cost-effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the safe handling, storage, and transportation of all products, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Support the planning and scheduling of deliveries to meet project timelines and customer requirements.
  • Implement and maintain logistics policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline operations.
  • Assist in the selection and evaluation of logistics service providers and negotiate contracts as needed.
  • Generate regular reports on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2 to 7 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related operational role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in the pumps, water services, or engineering sector is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing operational demands.
