Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Shipment Coordination: Plan, schedule, and track shipments using spreadsheets, email, and direct communication.
  • Carrier & Vendor Management: Negotiate rates, book transport, and maintain strong working relationships with carriers and suppliers.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare bills of lading, customs paperwork, and ensure compliance with trade and transport regulations.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels through manual records and coordinate with warehouse staff for replenishment.
  • Problem Resolution: Respond quickly to delays, damages, or routing issues, finding practical solutions.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shipments and costs using Excel or other manual tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, and finance teams to align logistics with business needs.br>

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities without reliance on specialized software.
  • English proficiency is a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work under pressure.
