Roles & Responsibilities
Position: Logistic & Supply Specialist (Maritime)
Department: Projects / Operations
Reports To: Maritime Project Lead / Maritime Head of Operations
Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Logistic & Supply Specialist (Maritime) to support naval Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) activities.
The role ensures vessels remain operational and mission-ready by managing spares, materials, documentation, OEM coordination, and logistics execution across maintenance cycles and urgent defect rectification.
The position initially supports project mobilisation and transitions into operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Support maintenance planning by identifying long-lead items and material risks
Develop Bills of Material (BOM), provisioning plans, and critical spares packages
Manage inventory, warehouse operations, controlled stores, and hazardous materials
Coordinate procurement with OEMs and approved suppliers (RFQs, POs, R&R, warranties)
Ensure compliance with naval standards, configuration control, and technical documentation
Coordinate local and international logistics, including customs and dangerous goods
Support dockings, overhauls, defect rectification, and deployed fleet requirements
Track KPIs including availability, supplier performance, and inventory accuracy
Maintain and manage CMMS / ERP / EAM systems
Experience (Mandatory)
Minimum 5+ years in Naval / Maritime MRO logistics or supply chain environments
Strong understanding of naval maintenance cycles and defect repair processes
Experience with ERP / EAM / CMMS systems (e.g., AMOS, IFS, IMS or equivalent)
Proven experience managing OEMs, suppliers, and technical procurement
Knowledge of international logistics, incoterms, export controls, and compliance
Experience in defence or military maritime environments
Maritime MRO experience is mandatory.

Desired Candidate Profile
Education (Mandatory)
Bachelor’s or Postgraduate Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Management field
Preferred Certifications / Knowledge
CIPS, APICS / CSCP, PMP, or equivalent
Knowledge of ITAR, controlled stores, and military classification requirements
Experience within shipyards, naval bases, or defence programmes
Middle East experience preferred
