Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Follow up on shipments and incoming goods to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare all necessary documents and procedures for customs clearance
- Monitor local and international market prices; analyze offers and compare alternatives
- Complete all required procedures through governmental and customs portals to ensure timely release without penalties
- Prepare regular reports on the status of shipping documents and goods in transit or already cleared
- Ensure all legal and customs documentation required for releasing imported goods is accurate and complete
- Organize and maintain records related to foreign purchases
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, import operations, or foreign purchasing
- Solid knowledge of customs clearance procedures and working through NAFEZA
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to analyze local and international supplier offers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and tracking ability for shipments and reports
- High attention to detail with commitment to accurate documentation and record
