Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth running of all imports and the receipt of products on the required date by anticipating all possible problems or blockages.
  • Control of order documents (PO-PI-Contract-Offer) with suppliers and buyers.
  • Scheduling of shipments with suppliers and monitoring of FOB shipments with shipping companies.
  • Preliminary check of documents related to customs formalities, and follow-up of the bank slip (original documents received at the bank).
  • Monitoring of food notices and assurance of imports with the relevant department.
  • Internal coordination with the finance department for the retrieval of bank documents.
  • Monitoring the customs clearance process with the freight forwarder from declaration to delivery.

  • Understanding of civil engineering works and telecommunications.
  • Basic accounting skills.
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulations relating to HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) of the country.
  • Persistence and persistence.
  • Rigour and organisation.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • 13 years of experience in a logistics company.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Mastery of French and basic English.
