Fashion UK is looking for an inspiring Logistics Costing Clerk to shape the heart of our Logistics Team in Egypt.
Your role will extend beyond performing day-to-day task; it involves nurturing multicultural teams to cultivate excellence in everything we do.

Role Objective:
As a Logistics Costing Clerk you will be responsible for evaluating and optimizing the logistics budget and processes by analyzing shipping cost during the approval of invoices whilst adhering to business KPIs and providing internal stakeholder with a high standard of accuracy and maintaining a professional relationship with our partners.
Daily checking of email inboxes, categorize different item such as invoices, Statement of accounts, communication etc.
- Updating and maintain an invoicing tracker to monitor invoice receipts and approval statuses.
- Understanding and Costing of Logistics related invoices including Freight, Duties and Clearance costs.
- Working closely with our Accounts Payable team to maintain healthy relationships with Logistics Partners, by ensuring on time approval and payment of invoices.
- Maintaining records of customs VAT submissions.
- Obtaining and negotiating freight quotations from our sourcing countries in the Far East and presenting them to management for approval.
- Preparing Purchase Orders for Freight shipments.
- Analysis of variances in logistics related costs in relation to expected costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Background in logistics and claims handling with grasp of accounting insights and technical know-how of supply chain.
- Attention to detail & effective time management.
- Demonstrate success in collaboration for project delivery with various stakeholders.
Analytical thinker with intermediate technical skills supported by advanced data analytics knowledge. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent level of English both written and spoken
- Previous experience using ERP software such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Desirable).
