Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supply Chain Coordination
Coordinate and manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess inventory.
Implement inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.
Transportation Management
Oversee transportation logistics, including the selection of carriers, route planning, and shipment tracking.
Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to retail stores or customers.
Warehouse Management
Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
Implement best practices for warehouse layout, organization, and safety.
Process Optimization
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Utilize technology and software solutions to streamline logistics operations.
Compliance and Documentation
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Manage and maintain accurate records, including shipping documents, inventory reports, and compliance certifications.
Vendor and Partner Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers, suppliers, and other partners.
Negotiate contracts and service agreements to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.
Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, including cost analysis, delivery times, and inventory accuracy.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Skills To Be Successful:
Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or related roles, preferably in the toys or retail industry.
Strong knowledge of logistics processes, transportation management, and warehouse operations.
Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
