Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to customers.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and carriers to secure the best rates and services for logistics operations.
  • Implement and monitor logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory management and optimize stock levels.
  • Analyze transportation trends and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Utilize logistics software and tools for tracking shipments, managing inventory, and generating reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs and trade laws.
  • Train and mentor logistics staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and ensure they meet performance standards.
  • Prepare and present logistics performance metrics to senior management for informed decision-making.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional languages like Spanish or Mandarin are advantageous.
