Logistics Freight Forward Specialist

Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics process for international shipments of marble and granite products.

• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve any issues or delays in transit.
• Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with carriers and logistics providers.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, production, and warehouse to align logistics activities with business needs.
• Track and report on key logistics metrics, including delivery timelines, costs, and carrier performance.
• Manage and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and freight transactions.

• 2-5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or international shipping.
• Proven track record in managing export logistics, preferably within the stone or construction materials industry.
• Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills for dealing with carriers and service providers.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with documentation requirements for international trade.
• Willingness to work onsite at the company s location.
