Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handle and coordinate air and sea import shipments from A to Z.
  • Ensure timely clearance of shipments and compliance with customs and import regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and manage all import documentation (B/L, COO, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, etc.).
  • Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests
  • Track orders to ensure timely deliveries
  • Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading).
  • Communicate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (planning, purchasing, finance) to align on shipment timelines.
  • Track and analyze freight costs and suggest cost-saving solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, suppliers, and logistics activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in import operations, especially air and sea freight.
  • Solid knowledge of Egyptian customs procedures and required documentation.
  • Familiarity with Nafeza system and international trade platforms is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is a must).
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
