Roles & Responsibilities
NOK Human Capital is hiring a Logistics Lead for a leading organization in the supply chain sector. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end logistics operations across multiple hubs and international routes, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods. This role will lead a team of Logistics Officers while driving operational excellence, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Logistics Officers, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
Manage and optimize end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery across multiple hubs.
Develop logistics strategies and determine the most effective transportation modes (Air, Ocean, and Land) based on cost, service, and risk.
Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations, customs requirements, and hazardous cargo standards.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, suppliers, 3PL providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges.
Analyze logistics data, identify trends, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Drive the adoption of digital tools, analytics, and AI-powered technologies to improve logistics visibility and decision-making.
Prepare and present logistics performance reports, KPIs, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CISCP or CSFFP are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven experience with SAP, logistics planning, and 3PL management.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs processes, and freight operations.
- Knowledge of hazardous cargo transportation is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with analytics tools.
- Digital mindset with strong awareness of AI tools and emerging technologies.
