Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, and last-mile delivery.
  • Manage company fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, maintenance, fuel management, and driver performance.
  • Optimize transportation routes and fleet utilization to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Supervise logistics staff, including drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with transportation laws, safety regulations, and internal fleet policies.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics with business needs.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, transport costs, and fleet efficiency.
  • Develop and implement fleet-related policies, preventive maintenance programs, and driver safety training.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and transport contractors.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock levels, and warehouse operations to ensure product availability and accuracy.
  • Use logistics and fleet management software to streamline operations and generate reports.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics performance, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 10 + years) in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
  • Strong understanding of logistics systems, transportation management, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of customs, compliance, and international shipping (if applicable).
