Role & responsibilities :

• Knowledge about procurement , Making PO and complete Order to cash flow.
• Knowledge about sea freights/ Air Freight, shipping lines and Air cargo operations.
• Should be having knowledge about Bill of lading and other shipping documents like commercial invoice, packing list and should be aware about the detailed check points of every document.
• Should be aware of the procedure for making Certificate of Origin from the Ministry of Chamber of Commerce website.
• Complete knowledge of Master BL and House Bls and the flow of documents for this cycle .
• Knowledge about certifications for import in African sector like ECTN, CNCA and CBCA certificates.
• Competitive knowledge about letter of Credits/ Documentary credits (UCP DC 600) Expiry date, transshipment, Partial shipment, latest shipping and the other clauses in it .
• Detailed coordination with the vendors and buyers for the flow of documents, taking consent on the shipping documents from the buyers before final proceess .
• Knowledge of Incoterms, Shipping bills, shipping instruction and should have understanding of Indian customs and their practices.
• Should be aware of container tracking from their tracking engines from various carrier lines like Maersk , Cosco , CMA CGM , MSC, PIL etc .
• Internal coordination with accounts teams for the follow up with the Debtor/Creditor balances and follow up with respected parties.
• Making the PO for Bajaj and entering into Excellon system
• Handling the Switch BL with the Shipping lines
• Freight rate finalisation after discussing with multiple parties
• Cordination with the Accounts team for timely payments
• Cordination with Destination teams for the new orders
• Making the Certificate of Origin in Ministry of Chamber of Commerce Submitting the shipping documents to the Banks ( LC 's)
• Checking the LCs with all the Clauses
• Making the shipping documents
• Co ordination with the FF agents for the shipping documents , Taking quotations , for certifications

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate with degree in Logistics & Freight Forwarding or Supplychain
• Must have experience in working with multiple nationalities
• Must have prior experience in working with trading company
• Minimum 10 Years of experience in logistics & freight forwarding
• Well verse with MS-Office & Office Tools
• Must be staying in Dubai for long and knows the country
• Can join us within one month of shortlisting
