Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all logistics and distribution operations.
• Ensure efficient movement of parcels from pickup to final delivery.
• Develop logistics strategies to improve delivery speed and operational efficiency.
• Oversee company vehicles, drivers, and transportation resources.
• Ensure vehicles are properly allocated, maintained, and utilized efficiently.
• Monitor fuel usage, vehicle performance, and maintenance schedules.
• Supervise parcel sorting, storage, and dispatch processes.
• Ensure accurate handling, tracking, and documentation of shipments.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth loading and dispatch operations.
• Design and implement efficient delivery routes to reduce travel time and operational costs.
• Monitor delivery performance and resolve issues related to delays or failed deliveries.
• Implement systems to improve last-mile delivery performance.
• Manage logistics staff including dispatchers, warehouse staff, and drivers.
• Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
• Track key logistics metrics such as delivery timelines, operational costs, and service efficiency.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics performance reports.
• Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with clients regarding delivery schedules and logistics requirements.
• Manage relationships with external logistics partners, suppliers, or service providers.
• Ensure service levels meet contractual and operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Manage operational risks related to transportation and delivery operations.
• Maintain documentation and reporting related to logistics activities.
