Job Summary:

The Logistics Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end supply chain process from planning and storage to transportation and timely delivery of goods. This role ensures the efficient and cost-effective movement of materials and products while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee the storage, distribution, and transportation of goods.
• Coordinate logistics operations to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of shipments.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch activities.
• Optimize transportation routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation, customs declarations, and related records.
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve logistics-related issues and bottlenecks promptly.
• Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to streamline supply chain activities.
• Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to recommend improvements in processes and systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• With at least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and transportation regulations.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
