Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

· Plan and manage logistics activities including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution.

· Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

· Monitor shipments, track delivery schedules, and resolve delays or issues proactively.

· Manage import/export documentation, customs requirements, and freight forwarding processes.

· Maintain accurate records of stock levels, material movements, and logistics transactions.

· Negotiate with vendors and logistics service providers for competitive rates and improved service levels.

· Optimize shipping routes, loads, and logistics costs wherever possible.

· Ensure compliance with UAE customs laws, port regulations, and company policies.

· Prepare logistics reports, KPIs, and monthly summaries for management review.

· Coordinate with finance for invoice verification, duty payments, and cost tracking.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

Skills :

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

· Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations (preferably in the UAE/GCC).

· Knowledge of shipping terms (INCOTERMS), customs procedures, and freight operations.

· Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office.

: Minimum 4-5 years experience in UAE in the same role. Experience dealing with UAE ports, customs clearance, and free zone operations.
