Logistics Operations Specialist Emex DWC LLC

Lead and coordinate end-to-end logistics operations - Inbound / Outbound shipments from Outside UAE (by Air/Sea/Land) and everything related, ensuring reliable and efficient shipment execution, cost control, and clear communication across all stakeholders (customers; suppliers; service providers; colleagues).

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, cargo agents, and shipping lines

• Manage freight bookings (air, sea, land) with agents and carriers

• Oversee shipping and customs clearance processes to ensure smooth execution

• Monitor shipments, resolve delays/issues, and ensure timely delivery

• Perform billing vs. expense analysis to control logistics costs and margins

• Maintain and update internal systems with delivery services, rates, and schedules

• Provide operational support to customers and suppliers (status updates, documentation, issue resolution)

• Ensure proper documentation flow (invoices, BL/AWB, packing lists, permits)

• Optimize routes, carriers, and pricing based on performance and cost

Requirements:

• Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in logistics/freight forwarding

• Strong knowledge of air and sea freight operations and UAE logistics environment

• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across supply chain

• Good understanding of customs clearance processes (Free Zone and Mainland)

• Strong analytical skills for cost control and reporting

• Ability to lead, prioritize, and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
