Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

- Communicate with the suppliers once the goods are ready in order to arrange shipping

- Arrange shipping with shipping companies and forwarders based on our agreements.

- Create ACID number for each shipments and follow up with the supplier in order to upload the documents on cargo-x

- Receive the document from the supplier and review it

- Request the insurance for the shipments if required

- Deliver the documents to the custom clearance department

- Follow up with custom clearance department and the procurement team for any missing information related to the shipment

- Request the payment for the suppliers and shipping companies

- Follow up the shipment until received in the warehouse

- Refer to the procurement team if there is any issue in the goods

- Fulfill additional tasks as per job needs.

Desired Candidate Profile

BSC. degree preferably in Logistics, Business, Management.

1 - 8 years of experience.

Good English Level.

Knowledge of and experience with international shipping, bookings, documentation and transportation functions

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Sense of urgency

Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Ability and willingness to take initiative

Willingness to learn
