Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Loss Prevention Officer responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, equipment, and other company assets, while effectively responding to emergencies and security incidents across the worksite.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, equipment, and company assets in a 24/7 high-risk industrial environment.
Control site access and manage visitors in accordance with company and ISPS security procedures.
Observe, detect, and report suspicious activities, unsafe conditions, and potential security threats.
Enforce company safety and security regulations and provide continuous security coverage.
Respond to incidents and emergencies, providing initial action, evacuation support, and crowd control as required.
Assist in basic fire safety response and emergency preparedness activities.
Operate basic security equipment such as radios, CCTV systems, and access control tools.
Perform routine support services, including hourly dormitory checks and accurate reporting of activities and incidents.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in basic security or safety roles.
Safety & Security Knowledge:
Basic occupational health and safety knowledge for industrial sites.
Basic fire safety awareness.
Basic security procedures and access control principles.
Certifications (Basic/Foundation Level):
Basic security guard training or equivalent certification.
Basic safety training (OSHA-style or local equivalent).
Valid First Aid / CPR certification.
Basic fire safety training.
Skills & Attributes:
Good observation and incident reporting skills.
Ability to respond calmly to emergencies and follow procedures.
Physically fit and able to work long hours in a 24/7 shift environment.
Team player with a disciplined and safety-focused mindset.
