JOB PURPOSE

BAE Systems is the UK Government s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The Entry Into Service (EIS) Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering Entry Into Service and Site Acceptance events for Localising Typhoon Electronic Warfare Programming (LTEWP) with the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) customer. The role ensures that all technical, logistical, and programme readiness activities are completed to enable successful capability handover and formal milestone acceptance. Working closely with UK engineering teams, programme leadership, and customer stakeholders, the EIS Manager leads the maturity lifecycle of events, ensuring all required toolsets, equipment, and systems are installed, commissioned, and fully operational prior to acceptance activities.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Plan, coordinate and deliver LTEWP Entry Into Service (EIS) and Site Acceptance events with the RSAF Customer

Ensure all event activities are executed in line with corporate governance, EIS processes, and BAESSA Engineering mandates.

Manage the full event lifecycle from planning and readiness through execution and closure.

Lead event maturity lifecycle activities in collaboration with UK engineering and programme teams.

Track readiness criteria, technical dependencies and risk mitigation to ensure event success.

Ensure all required toolsets, support equipment and infrastructure are received, installed, and commissioned ahead of events.

Lead the structured handover of operational capability to the customer.

Coordinate milestone acceptance activities and documentation with customer representatives.

Ensure acceptance criteria are clearly defined, met, and formally agreed in line with the LTEWP Acceptance test and handover plan.

Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, programmes, and customer support.

Work closely with the Head of Programmes to align event delivery with overall programme milestones.

Act as the primary focal point for internal and external stakeholders during EIS and acceptance events.

Ensure all events are delivered in accordance with corporate policies, programme governance, and EIS frameworks.

Maintain documentation, reporting, and Entry into Service Working group reviews associated with each event.

Identify and manage risks, issues, and escalation paths throughout the EIS process.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience delivering Entry Into Service, acceptance testing or capability handover in aerospace or defence programmes.

Strong programme or project management capability in complex technical environments.

Experience working with military or government customers, ideally RSAF stakeholders.

Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering and operational teams.

Knowledge of site acceptance, commissioning, and readiness processes.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Demonstrate an existing SCE registration or the ability to attain one

Extensive experience working within regulated defence or aerospace environments.
