Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement the annual sales strategy of Oman Oil Lubricants in line with OOMCO policies and sales processes.

Manage major distributors operating with multicultural sales teams and a wide network of high-street outlets, oil-change service points, lube centres, and trade channels.

Ensure achievement of sales targets for volume, turnover, and gross margin across diversified channels.

Guide and monitor distributor performance in accordance with OOMCO commercial framework to secure market share.

Lead commercial negotiations across multi-national workshops and retail points requiring cross-cultural experience.

Oversee merchandising standards and site-level execution to maintain brand visibility and operational quality.

Provide monthly and ad-hoc sales reports with analytical insights and recovery actions when required.

Conduct continuous market studies and identify high-value opportunities within expatriate-dominated segments.

Manage collections and enforce OOMCO credit policies to ensure disciplined debtor management.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the lubricant business to enhance performance and efficiency.

Collaborate with OOMCO Marketing to develop and execute effective BTL activities for DEO & PCMO segments.

Maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors ensuring sustained profitability.

Participate in tenders and strategic portfolio development initiatives for specialized lubricant segments.

Ensure that all HSEQ policies, standards and guidelines are implemented and complied with in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum bachelor Degree in sales and marketing, or mechanical/ automobile discipline

Minimum 4 years of experience in lubricant sales, preferably gained through multicultural distributor networks or leading multinational organizations

Advanced negotiation skills adaptable to multicultural market conditions.

Strong analytical and forecasting capability.

Deep knowledge of lubricant products and workshop behaviours.

Experience in site-level merchandising and stock discipline.

Proficiency in Oracle, MS Word, and Excel.
